Thursday 15th October: Crumpsall Folk Club feat. Ada Wood
The incredibly talented Ada and her bandmates in La'l Tethera played a stunning set at the club at back in June (video on Youtube here), and next Thursday she headlines the night as a solo fiddle player and singer. A nomadic childhood grounded Ada's music in folk traditions from across Northern England and she has appeared in collaborations and festivals in the UK and internationally, as well as playing with La'l Tethera and her other band Pholkamine, who combine folk with metal, jazz, rock and ska.
"What a bloody amazing player" - Molly Tilston
